Each pair of Babú shoes is meticulously handcrafted by our talented artisans, who bring decades of expertise to each step of the production process. We use only the finest materials, laser-cut with precision to minimize waste. Each piece is then hand-sewn to ensure unmatched strength and comfort, before being delicately molded around a last, shaping them into their iconic form.

Our Manufacturing Process

Our dedication to the slow fashion model means that we take the time to perfect
each pair, embracing a more sustainable approach that reduces waste and
supports local craftsmanship.

The natural buffalo insole and outsole are attached using a special cementing
method that incorporates a cork mixture to soften the heel, ensuring both
durability and comfort.

After a resting period, each shoe undergoes final touches, where our artisans inspect
every detail to guarantee perfection. Glue is applied to the bottom of the shoe, preparing it the sole.

This careful, time-honored process not only results in shoes of exceptional quality
